We’re John and Andrea, a couple of thirty-something travellers who have been exploring other countries and cultures since we were 10 and 19 respectively. We grew up on opposite sides of the planet but both realized in our twenties that the places where we grew up were not for us in the long-term. John set off for Europe to work and travel, while Andrea moved around the United States for awhile, travelling abroad whenever she could. And then one day, in a tiny little town at the bottom of Crete, we met.

Since then we’ve been nomadic together. In 2010 we finally decided to start publishing stories about our adventures and also those of the interesting people we meet along the way. Our travel style: laid-back luxury. We spend pretty much all of our extra cash on travel and enjoy treating ourselves when we’re on holiday. Yet we’re unpretentious and feel just as comfortable at a casual restaurant as at one adorned with Michelin stars. As long as the quality is high, we’re there.

Andrea is a writer, photographer and entrepreneur who has travelled through Australasia, Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Southeast Asia.

John is an engineer who has worked and travelled through Australasia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. He is also a musician and writer.
