The locals aren’t pleased with the gentrification happening in Prenzlauerberg, Berlin. Not sure exactly what this sign says, though…anyone?
Similarly, some people aren’t fond of the tourist influx in Puerto Varas, Chile.
Hmmm…saw this one in Budapest, Hungary.
This was stamped on the door of a brothel in Napier. Only a very specific 37%?

XD We have a REDRUM Burger in Davis, California (in response to the Murder Burger photo).
Wow, that “No gun shooting strictly” sign is kind of interesting and annoying, because now I wonder why they had to post that (all sorts of bad questions pops into my head….).
That’s exactly what I thought about the gun sign! Love the name REDRUM Burger =)
That first sign is from Croatia? That is hilarious as the words are in German. French fries and chewing gum from left to right.
What hostel is that in Dunedin? I saw a sign in Athens above the computers mentioning that the server manager has a high powered rifle and do not install ANYTHING on the computers.
The graffiti from Berlin says Yuppies Out on the top line and no clue on the rest, guessing the “artists” tag somehow.
Was Murder Burger any good? Was it actually meat or veggie burgers? We LOVED Velvet Burger in Dunedin and were so happy to find one in Auckland.
Hmmm – what was that hostel called in Dunedin? Can’t remember…it was in an old hospital on a hill and said to be haunted. Thanks for clearing up the translation on the Yuppies graffiti – I thought it was something like that. We actually didn’t eat at the Murder Burger. John is still sad about that one…

One would hope they did not murder the kitty for that burger…
Why would they use a cat for their logo? Made me think of the poor dears at the pounds all over the world…
Since you can’t tell from the sign what it is, presumably only German-speakers can’t chew gum on that Croatias bus
Plenty of German tourists in Croatia so maybe they did that on purpose? =)

HA! I love the teenager sign best – most clever, I think. I take tons photos of funny signs whenever I can during my travels. They’re like my souvenirs for a specific place: cheap, light, and always makes me smile. Great captures.

These are too funny. I loved all of them, but I think my favorite was ‘No Gun Shooting STRICTLY.’ I mean, I’m glad they are strict about no gun shooting, at least it doesn’t say 37% No Gun Shooting. =)
Love funny signs, love the “People smoking in this house will be beheaded and vaporised…” Little extreme but definitely gets the point across and the STRICTLY NO SHOOTING one as well!
I think the murder burger one might be the most disturbing…
Haha! Brilliant! ‘Yuppies Raus scene dogz 10G’ (presumably this is not their address), perhaps it shoulda been ‘Puppies Raus’ which would make it a similar message to that sign from Ireland..

Sheesh, beheaded is a harsh sentence! I like the sign that says “hippies are welcome” – for some reason the whole “no hippies” things became really popular, which I think is obnoxious.
The beheaded thing was quite funny, I think, because the hostel was supposed to be haunted – could explain the harshness =)

I wonder if that bus in Croatia (first pic) was a German bus since the words are in German or if there are just that many German tourists in Croatia who put their gums everywhere and leave trails of French fries behind them
